The house is the home of author Tony Cohan (On Mexican Time). It is a large, classic two-story colonial with twenty-foot beamed ceilings, tiled floors and thick walls. It's in the heart of the city center, literally one minute's walk to the main drag and three to the Jardin Union, but is on a quiet, historic street of old homes that has no car traffic. There are 3 ½ bedrooms, four bathrooms, five patios. From the upper levels, there are various stunning views of the city. There is washer, dryer, wi-fi. Big colonial kitchen with stove/oven and a large refrigerator. The master bathroom has a custom tiled bathtub. All utilities are paid. Weekly maid service included. The house comes fully furnished. A cat lives in the downstairs patio area. Katling is uncomfortable with strangers but warms up once she knows you. She doesn’t enter the main house or the upstairs rooms because the owner (me) is allergic to cats! Because of the cat, we would rent to animal lovers only, and only to adults, as we wouldn’t want a child to suffer a nip or a scratch, if it ever happened. The very capable woman who comes to clean lives across the street and can also attend to the cat - feed it, change its litter box, etc. - if desired. One of the bedrooms, a private studio, and a storage room will be closed to guests.
